# Setup Guide

1. Connect HubSpot
2. Select pipelines
3. Confirm stage logic
4. Configure reporting
5. Activate

## Before you start

- HubSpot access with permission to approve OAuth scopes
- Knowledge of which pipelines and stages to include
- Fiscal year and reporting currency for the workspace
- Relevant deal properties (amount, close date, owner, forecast fields)

## Connect & OAuth

Authorize one portal via HubSpot OAuth over HTTPS. No CRM migration. Exact scopes appear on the HubSpot consent screen. ExecOS reads commercial data for reporting and does not write CRM records in the current product.

## Users & access

The standard install connects CRM reporting without requesting access to your HubSpot account-user directory. To grant teammates access, open **Settings → Users & Access** in ExecOS and select **Authorize user sync**. A HubSpot Super Admin approves the optional `settings.users.read` permission once, then selects **Sync HubSpot users**.

Synced users start with no ExecOS access. An ExecOS admin must explicitly assign Viewer or Admin access before they can sign in. You can also add users manually if you do not want to authorize directory sync. This optional permission does not grant CRM write access.

## Pipelines & stages

Select pipelines to include. Confirm stage order and closed-won / closed-lost logic. Unlimited customer-configured pipelines subject to [fair use](https://aurumlabs.dev/legal/terms#fair-use).

## Fiscal year & currency

Set fiscal year for targets and attainment. v1 uses one reporting currency per workspace — no multi-currency conversion.

## Properties & activation

Map amounts, close dates, owners and forecast fields. Activate and review overview, trust and risk. Configuration can be edited without reinstalling.

## Revenue (optional)

## Disconnect & uninstall

Disconnect in ExecOS settings or revoke in HubSpot. Request deletion via [Data Deletion](https://aurumlabs.dev/legal/data-deletion?hsLang=en).

## Troubleshooting

- **OAuth errors:** reconnect and approve for the correct portal
- **User sync unavailable:** authorize user sync as a HubSpot Super Admin, then retry from Users & Access
- **Empty views:** confirm pipelines and stage mappings
- **Low trust:** review Data Trust dimensions
- **Missing finance:** confirm Revenue plan and uploads
